William A. Shriver, Age 87 of Hambden Twp., passed away on June 2, 2021, at Burton Health Care.  Bill was born May 10, 1934 in Ashland, OH to Laurence and Beatrice (nee: Bunton) Shriver, he had been a resident of Eastlake before moving to Geauga County in 1975.

Mr. Shriver served with the US Navy from 1952 to 1956. He was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Claridon Twp. He retired from COE Manufacturing in Painesville in 1997. Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, photography, genealogy, and bead craft; his greatest love was spending time with his friends and family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, William (Rebecca) Shriver Jr. of Hambden Twp and Richard Shriver of AZ; daughter, Patricia (David) Rupert of Rock Creek; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Lawrence Shriver of Eastlake and Don (Sheila) of Cleveland and many extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Delores A. (nee: Giancola); 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 sister-in-law.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. held at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024. A private burial will be held at Hambden Township Cemetery.
