Vitas “Vit” Bernardas Brazis

Age 58, a 13 year resident of Kirtland, OH (formerly of Euclid, OH) died on August 2, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Cleveland, OH, on May 22, 1961, graduated from St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, OH, attended Lakeland Community College, and was a machinist for Bowden Manufacturing in Willoughby, OH.

Vit was a devoted husband to his wife Carolyn, whom he married on September 16, 2006 at Moreland Mansion in Kirtland. He was a playful and loving father to his daughter Casey. They shared a love for art and spent many hours creating beautiful pieces together. He was a member of the Old South Church in Kirtland. Vit was very proud of his 1946 Ford Coupe which he restored. He was a true friend to all, someone you could always count on.

A Gathering of family and friends to celebrate Vit’s life will be held on August 30, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 116 South St., Chardon, OH. Vit was a t-shirt and jeans guy and for his service we would ask you dress in casual attire in his memory.
