Kathie, Victor, Theresa, Barbara, Mark, Tom, and families: Vic and Kathie and family, became a part of our lives and family, when their son Mark and our daughter Amy fell in love and became life mates. We were thankful for the kind, loving, caring and generous spirit that Vic always shared with us over our 23 years of getting to know him. I always enjoyed our conversations and the interesting thoughts that he presented and provoked during those opportunities over the years when we happened to be together. He had a laid back sense of humor and it was fun to see him smile and divulge the rest of the story, waiting for you to finally get it!. One of my favorite memories was when my husband Curt and I came to Ohio for a bridal shower generously given by Kathie for our Amy. The time for the shower came and we, the ladies, were preparing to leave to attend the event, Amy's dad Curt, said to Vic, "Hey Vic are you not coming to the shower?" Vic looked at him in surprise and said, " No way Curt, that is for women, I am going to play golf, would you like to come?" Curt enjoyed golf also, but he wanted to document this special moment with pictures and video's, Curt said in a side whisper to Vic, " Man, I have found these women know how to throw a spread, of delicious food and desserts at these 'women' events, you are missing out, golf does not offer that scenario!" Curt attended and had a wonderful time, taking pictures and feasting, and getting to meet all of the women in attendance that day! Of course he took great pleasure later that evening elaborately sharing the events of the day with Vic, Vic graciously laughed and smiled, as both of these dads enjoyed this once in a lifetime special moment of families learning to come together in friendship that soon became a long lasting mutual loving relationship. Kathie and family, our love, our thoughts and our prayers have been and will be with The Germano family as they come together to celebrate the wonderful life of a one of a kind special son, brother, husband, dad, and granddad. God Bless...and He has...and He will...from your Tennessee family.
