Thomas R. “Tom” Fisher, 36, of Lakewood, passed away Nov. 11, 2012, at University Hospitals. Born Sept. 11, 1976, in Claridon Township, he had lived in Chardon before moving to Lakewood a year and a half ago. Mr. Fisher worked as a truck driver for Beverage Distributors in Cuyahoga County. While in truck driving school, Tom did an externship with Swift Trucking. Tom Fisher married Kelly Murray July 22, 2002, in Chardon. Tom was a graduate of Chardon High School, Class of 1995, and an avid sports fan. For many years, Tom played softball throughout the Geauga County area. He enjoyed watching all Cleveland sports teams and The Ohio State football games. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughters. Survivors are his wife, Kelly (Murray) Fisher of Lakewood; daughters: Taylor and Cami Fisher of Lakewood; father, Bill Fisher of Orwell; mother, Nancy Ehrhart of Chardon; brother, Bill Fisher Jr. of Chardon; mother-in-law, Loretta Murray of Chardon; he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, John B. Murray. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Deacon Will Payne of St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Newbury Township will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
