Thomas Petrus, age 73, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. Born August 17, 1945 to George and Mary (nee: Emery) Petrus in Cleveland, Ohio. He worked as a Salesman for Window World in Erie, PA. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and was known for being very opinionated. He is survived by his Daughter, Shelly (Bryan) Hamler of Geneva, OH; Sons, Thomas (Dawn) Petrus of Olmsted Township, OH and Stephen (Pauline) Petrus of Fairport Harbor; Grandchildren, Christopher and Zachary. He leaves behind his good friend Joan Francis; Brother, George (Donna) Petrus; Sister, DiAnna (Ben) Zemlicka, Micki (Ray) Gura, Georgia (Bob) Wos and Ginger (Dave) Dombrosky Kwiatkowski and his loving companion his cat Sassy. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Cheryl (nee: Kimmel) Petrus.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m with a Memorial Mass held at 12:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. So sorry to hear about the loss of your father, brother and friend. I worked with Tom at Window World Erie and enjoyed Tom's upbeat attitude and his life stories he shared. A sad time. He will be missed by all.

Tom you were my big brother and protector when we were growing up. I love you and will miss you. Rest in the arms of the Lord.
