I don't know Terry personally, I only saw him several times. What I could say is that under his leadership, Bird was a company which actually treated their employees fairly and provided long term employment until retirement (which is unfortunately rare). Also, he allowed some distinguished employees to work part-time after retirement. He was a good CEO.
