After retirement, she travelled extensively with friends and family, and was a voracious reader. She volunteered for the Geauga County Dept. on Aging delivering Meals on Wheels and working in the office at the Chardon Senior Center.
She is survived by her children Dick Daugherty of Jefferson, Doug (Wendy) Daugherty of Chardon, and Sue Lampey (Scott) of Unionville; grandmother to Richard, Shannon, and Megan Daugherty, Danielle (Bryan) Briggs and Katie (Sean) Redinger, Glenn Lampey and Bailey Lampey (Chad Cornwell); her brother Ed McCarthy of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
