RUTH ELAINE HINKLE (NEE: BRUMBAUGH)

Age 88 of Claridon Twp., died December 1, 2021 at Blossom Hill Care Center, Huntsburg Twp. Born January 4, 1933 in Quakertown, PA to Reuben and Thelma (nee: Holsinger) Brumbaugh, she has been a Claridon Twp.  resident since 1951. Ruth was an avid Blue Grass Music fan and enjoyed the activities at the Geauga County Senior Center. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Ruth is survived by her children, Frank (Jill Kulewsky) Hinkle of Claridon Twp., Lewis (Christine) Hinkle of Missouri, Thomas (Carmen) Hinkle of Claridon Twp. and Linn (Dana) Hess of Orwell; grandchildren Rachael (Scott) West, Rebecca (James) Bibb, Michael (Shalonda) and Andrea Hinkle, Justin (Jen) and Lukus (Bethany) Hess, Jacob (Rachel) Hinkle, Christy (Brian) Jackson, Laura and Jared Hinkle and Misty Hinkle. Great grandchildren Austin, Alec and Alexandria Jackson; Morgan, Richie and Lyla Hinkle; Hudson, Lincoln, Gwen, Whitten, Vivian, Tobin and Ellisyn Hess; Selah, Blythe, Fenna, Azari and Waverly Hess, Tyler Bibb, Harlie, Rayn, Grace, and Scottie West, Jacob, Hunter, Sarah, Gabe, and Abby Hinkle. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Phillip and brothers Leroy “Earl” and Harold. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 6, 2021, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
