I met Rita through work and we became friends. We attended some Yoga classes together and explored New York after work. One of my memories with Rita was having dinner beside the skating rink in Rockefeller Center and our talks on the train. Rita was a beautiful person inside and out. When she smiled, her whole face would like up. Sending love to Rita.

Losing Rita has created a huge void in a lot of lives. Gone far too soon, but Rita will live on in the hearts of all she touched. Rest well, my friend, until we meet again. I will forever treasure the memories of times we shared together.

My cousin Rita gave me some great advice when I was a senior nursing student about to head out into the working world. She took me aside at a family wedding to ask me about my plans and share her experiences as a new grad. It was extremely kind of her and I will always be greatful. Thank you, Rita. Your cousin, Becky

I worked with Rita both at UH and at Allscripts. She was always willing to lend a hand or help you figure out a difficult problem. I had lunch with her and John back in July never knowing that would be the last time we had a meal and great conversation. I will miss you Rita more than words can say. You were taken too soon. Prayers to Marie and Keith and all of her extended family and friends. You will be missed by many. RIP my friend.

Rita and I worked together at Eclipsys/Allscripts. I met her on a project in NYC many, many years ago and we became not only coworkers, but friends right off. She was truly a one of a kind woman...sweet, generous, gracious, kind and helpful...all at the same time! I will miss seeing, traveling and working with her on our many challenging work projects. I will also miss our various conversations we had over the years...she was passionately opinionated about certain subjects! RIP and Godspeed Rita, I am so very grateful I was given the privilege and opportunity to know you and call you a friend over the past many years!!!
