Richard Arthur Schley 

Age 71, passed into his Savior’s arms on August 24, 2021. Dick was born on December 27, 1949 to Arthur and Erma Schley. He was the fourth of nine siblings. He grew up in Montville, Ohio and made his home in Warren, Ohio for the past 50 years. 

He is preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, and 5 siblings, Joanie, Jimmy, Barb, Donald and Kenneth.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Chris Schley, his son Jeremy Schley, and his remaining siblings, Gayle, Loretta and Phyllis, and many loving nephews and nieces. 

Dick was one of a kind. He was loving and kind and tender. He loved Jesus and his main concern was living his life for Him. Dick was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Warren, Ohio. Dick spent his life working at Packard Electric as an instructor in the apprentice program and retired from there after 34 years. He then went on to work for Kundel Industries for 15 years until his recent passing. Dick holds several patents and was an extremely gifted craftsman. 

He was a wonderful husband and Dad, an extremely loving son to his parents and the best brother his remaining 3 sisters could ever have asked for. He will be missed beyond measure.  We love you dear brother. We’ll see you at the gate… 

Graveside Services will be held Monday, August 30, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. at Montville Cemetery, Montville Township, Ohio. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 12686 Bass Lake Road, Chardon, OH.
