RICHARD “RICH’ P. STITH
Age 64 of Claridon Twp., died at his home on September 15, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 11, 1956 to Kenneth Stith and Carol (nee: Lafferty) Boner, he has been an area resident since 1977. Rich loved horses, he enjoyed sports, nature, especially birds and was an avid Ohio Buckeyes fan. Rich proudly served in the US Army, stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife Bari Oyler Stith, PhD., whom he married in 1977, his daughter Amanda (Doug) Pavlowsky of Pittsburgh and son Cpl. Jason Stith, US Marine Corp., NC and granddaughter Sophie Pavlowsky. Rich also leaves his mother, siblings Sheri Susaeta and Eric Stith. He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside service will be held at E. Claridon Cemetery, 12545 Old State Rd., Claridon Twp. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM. The family suggests donations to Wounded Warrior Project https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ or Toys for Tots, www.toysfortots.org.
