Rev. Vernon Palo left a message on February 21, 2014:
Our sympathies are extended to Marjorie. I so fondly remember Bob as the seasoned pastor who was there when I entered ministry 21 years ago. Bob was there with encouraging words, the gift of many books and a example of true love and devotion for the Gospels and our Lord Jesus Christ. My ministry has been blessed in many ways because of this Christ like man.

God rest you, Robert. I feel graced to have shared a small part of your last months at your last home with you and especially the special blessings from you. Remember me.
Jean & Les Babb left a message on February 19, 2014:
Marge, Rev. Bob has been close to our family for many, many years. Rev. Bob officiated at the funeral of many of my family members who have passed on. I'm sure Rev. Bob will again enjoy the company of my father-in-law, Les Babb. Rev. Bob used to visit him at the Middlefield Bowling Alley and they even would bowl a game or two together. Rev. Bob was one who always remembered who you were and who your family members were. He will truly be missed by many who had the honor to know him. He is now with our Lord. We will all meet again one day. God bless you, Marge, and keep the faith. God will give you the strength.

The Passing of Rev. Bob does sadden me but he is now with the King that he honored so well. May God surround the family with his Love and Light and support you during this time. May you Rest in Peace Rev. Bob. You will be missed!

My deepest sympathy to Marjorie and the Zinsmeister family. Rev. Bob was very instrumental in bringing many young people to the Methodist church's roster - myself included. He always made the time to talk to all of us, and was truly a good soul in every sense of the word. Although we all now have a huge void among us here on earth, heaven is much richer today! Rest in peace, dear man....
