Patricia J. (nee: Miller) Craig, age 87, of Chardon, peacefully passed on October 27, 2020. Born February 5, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a member of the St. Mary Church and the FOE Ladies Auxiliary Post 2261 of Chardon. She was known as the “Cookie Grandma” never showing up at an event without her famous cookies. Her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Alisha) Gifford of Chardon, OH, Roger (Nicole) Gifford of Roanoke, TX, Sharon (William) Keller of Leroy, OH, Pam (Richard) Stanley of Kearney, MO and Chris (Ned) McDonald of Chardon, OH; sister, Barb Kemp of North Olmstead, OH; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her first husband, Sherman Gifford, second husband, Les Craig and son, Dan Gifford.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024. Prayer Service to begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial at All Souls Cemetery following the service.

Pat was such a loving Grandma. We shared a special granddaughter, Sarah. Pat was also famous for her potato salad which I'd sometimes be the receiver of in my frig after coming home from teaching. She was such a fun lady. I have so many memories of her. Peace to all of her family. She will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of seeing Pat during my last visit to Chardon. We had a great time reminiscing about the good ole days. She told me some stories about my Father when he was young and reminded me of a few when I was younger. We had not seen each other in decades yet it felt like yesterday. She had a way of making you always feel like you belonged there. The world was a better place from having her in it. May you rest in peace Pat, you left a great legacy!

I will deeply miss my neighbor of so many years. She was so much more than a neighbor but was Cookie Gramma to my 40 year old daughter when she was a baby and later years my grandchildren got to adore her. My granddaughter Chloe and Pat were cut from the same spunky cloth and they were buddies.
Pat will always be remembered by the families in this neighborhood whether they are still here now or have moved on. She impacted us all in the best way possible.
Hugs and healing prayers to the family. She will now be with her beloved son Danny and her loving husband Les. She missed them both so much. God's speed Pat.
