PATRICIA EILEEN KLAG (nee: DIETRICH), Age 102, of Geauga County died December 26, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born March 17, 1919, on the family farm in Troy Twp., to William and Bertha (nee: Trimble) Dietrich, she has been a lifelong resident. Pat was an avid gardener; she never met a seed she didn’t want to plant. She enjoyed bowling, decorating cakes and she loved her cats. After retiring, she loved wintering in Arizona, she spent 18 years there discovering desert plants.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy Starr of Claridon Twp. and Georgene (Dale) Fairbanks of Rancho Mirage, CA; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Julian, her dear companion, George Ely, sons James and Thomas, her parents, 4 siblings and son in law, Don Starr.

Private family burial was held at Pleasant View Cemetery, Burton Twp. Services will be held at a later date.
