MICHAEL DEAN WAXLER
Age 79 of Montville Twp., died October 24, 2018 at UH Geauga Medical Center, Claridon Twp. Born to Gerald and Lavina (nee: Crocoll) Waxler September 24, 1939, he was a lifelong area resident. Michael was a graduate of Newbury High School, he graduated from DeVry University with honors, he was an avid golfer and a member of the “Hole in One” Club. He was a fan of old time movies and westerns.
He is survived by his wife Carol (nee: Dostal), whom he married December 2, 1961 in Newbury Twp., his children Michelle Waxler of Wickliffe and Michael (Deborah) Waxler, Jr. of Montville, grandchildren Rhiannon (Joshua) Sutch, Michael III, Larry and Danielle Bashlor, 3 great grandchildren and his brother Jeff Waxler of TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (On Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, followed by the burial at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
