Mary Taylor, 92, of Painesville, died Feb. 4, 2011.Born May 9, 1918, in Niles, she had lived in Painesville and Euclid for the past four years. She had also previously lived in Claridon Township and Cleveland.Mrs. Taylor had worked as an upholstery seamstress for the former Fisher Body on Coit Road in Cleveland, for over 30 years prior to retiring in 1979.Mary (Rocco) married Henry Taylor Sept. 2, 1937, in New Castle, Pa.. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1957. She had been a member of the UAW Local 45 in Euclid.Survivors are her three daughters, Eleanor Costa of Euclid, Mary Ann Copley of Euclid, and Ethel Mahoney of Painesville; two sons, Henry W. (Marcy) Taylor of Mary Esther, Fla., and Anthony S. (Patricia) Taylor of Kingman, Ariz.; 20 grandchildren; 31great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Leonara (nee Montisana) Rocco; husband, Henry Taylor; great-granddaughter; four sisters, Lina Paglia, Antionette Panowich, Carmella Rocco, and Lucille Rogers; and two brothers, James Rocco and John Rocco.Public memorial services will be held at a later date at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
