Mary Jane Williams (nee: Dowling), age 85, of Newbury, OH, peacefully passed away on August 28, 2022, at her home.  Born January 18, 1937, to Robert Lawrence and Violet Pearl (nee: Brundage) Dowling in Cleveland, OH.  Mary Jane married William Richard Williams on September 17, 1955, in Newbury, OH.  William preceded her in death on August 15, 2018. 

Mary Jane was a former beautician, she worked at Lowe’s Greenhouse and Kinetico.  She enjoyed gardening, doing crafts and going to Mosquito Lake to watch the boats. 

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Williams of Waco, TX, Laura Louise Alberta of Dover, FL and Michelle (Albert) Lynn Dorazio of Wickliffe, OH; Grandchildren, Ashlee McCrary, Sarah Louis, William (Kimberly) Alberta, Amanda Alberta, Stephen Bly, Adam (Wanda) Bly, Andrew Bly, Mariah (Joshua) Schaffer, Elisha Bly and Christopher Dorazio; brothers, John Richard and Robert Lawrence Dowling and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Denise Faith Bly, brothers, Arthur Vernon and Charles Hollen Dowling.

A visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, OH 44024.  A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be live streamed from our website.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
