The world has lost a truly wonderful person. I was a neighbor, briefly, and in that short time, grew very fond of Mev. She was friendly, kind and fun to be around. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy to Harry, Lindsey and Leah.

Dearest Mev, I don't want to say that I am going to miss you the most, but I think I am going to miss you the most. We do share the same birthday even though I got the purple banana seat bike and you had to ride on the handle bars of your girlfriends bike. I'll never forget that time at the clinic when I made that face at you and your cell phone went flying across the room and we both cracked up laughing our asses off (you know what I'm talking about). I am glad that I got layed off from my job just after you got diagnosed, we were there for each other, and had some great adventures together because of it. We laughed and cried often. I love you and will miss you forever, our lives have all been altered because of you and will never be forgoten.forever and always, love your lil sister, Carol

Dear Harry,Lindsey & Leah, My heart is breaking for you guys, I'm so sorry to hear Mev lost her battle. I have so many wonderful memories of her at the Midway Inn. Later in life she helped me through my loss with her encourgement & Love. I hope I can do the same for you guys. Life is uncertain but the Love of Family & Friends goes on 4-ever. May you keep her Love always in your hearts as I will. God Bless.

I hope my cherished memories of beloved wife and mom Mev will help keep me out of trouble. When we worked at ASM, she was usually the first friendly face I'd see in the morning and the last one on my way out the door.

My sweet Mevvie,I met Mev during my time at ASM. Not only was she full of life, always smiling, a hard, hard worker, but a beautiful and compassionate human being. We became instant friends and confidants. This wonderful woman was so in love with her Harry, and her beautiful daughters (and her pugs). Her needs were simple: family and friends. We spent much time together over my time at ASM, and when she shared the news of her illness, we cried together. Over the period of her illness, we talked by phone; laughed, cried and deepened our friendship. I came to admire her inner strength (even when she didn't think she had anymore left) and her drive to beat the illness. Mev touched so many, many lives, and will be greatly missed. I assure you, a day will not pass that I don't think of that beautiful person who touched my life so deeply. I will so miss my Mevvie. My deepest sympathy to Mev's entire family. You will be remembered in my thoughts and prayers.

Lindsey, the message to your mom that you posted here attests to the beauty and perfection of Mev's life on earth. To have raised a daughter like you was probably one of her greatest joys. I know that being a mom to someone as wonderful as you would have completed me. God bless you and comfort you. Your mom was one class act. She always had the glow of goodness and joy about her. She was as cute as a button her entire life, and beauty like that comes from the soul. I am sure she is heaven in the loving arms of others who love her now. I am equally sure she will continue to take pride in you forever. I am so terribly sorry for your loss.

Dearest Cousins,Thank goodness "Facebook" allowed us to get reacquainted again. Sounds like Mevvie lived life to the fullest, and adored her family. Mevvie will be missed by many on earth, and now in the arms of her Mother Maryann and heavenly Father. I know you have many beautiful memories of Mevvie which will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, cousin. You fought so hard.

I know your in a better place and not suffering anymore BUT I lost my best friend (besides Tony) and miss you... We sure did have some great adventures from school days, driving the parents and John Martin crazy to Arizona this past year with Brother Steve, seeing the pretty places and the boarder police saying " NO PICTURES " of course we had pictures, just laughing over nothing and laughing because we couldn't stop. It was a pleasure working with Mev at ASM International. She will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lindsey, I am so sorry for your loss. I feel SO awful. My heart is with you and your family.

I loved driving down to the Outer Banks with the entire family and talking on the CB's and singing songs. Mev would pick out all the good songs. She had a great singing voice!! LOL. And her and my dad would talk jibberish on the CB's. They were such a pair!!! Always a good time with her. I will miss you so much. I love you.

I remember many great times with Mev. The time she told me she was expecting her first baby. Fun times at the Miday Inn. Earning my nickname from Mev and Harry (they know what it is)!!!!!
