Marguerite Jean Myers, 92, passed away on February 25, 2019 at Heather Hill Care Communities in Munson Township, Ohio.
Born in 1926 in Elmira, N.Y., to Margaret (Berthod) and John Myers. Jean, as she preferred to be known, moved to Cleveland in 1944 with her sister, Eleanor “Jonesy”. In the 60’s she worked at home as a secretary, later was employed by Bell and Howell and retired at age 83 from Industrial Quartz.
Jean enjoyed swimming, fishing, bingo, horse races and the Ohio Lottery. She loved spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and even while Jean lived in Northeast Ohio for many years, her heart was always in her beloved home town.
She is survived by Daughters, Margaret Minello of Madison and Chris Cipriani (Steve Wilcox) of Chardon; Grandchildren, David Minello, Debbie (Brad) Benchina, Jill (Joel) Kerrett, and Casey Wilcox; Great Grandchildren, Mike Sater (Jennifer), Melissa Minello, Alicia Minello, Rob Bernstein (Susanne) and Joey Kerrett; Great Great Grandchildren, Chloe Carthen, Christian Craig, Aidan Switalski. She was preceded in death by her brother John Myers, sister Eleanor Jones and Great Grandchild Cory Minello Sater .
A private family service will be held in Elmira, NY.
