The inspiration that was given by you will always be remembered by myself. Even though I never knew you, I watched your battles through Facebook. You unknowingly helped me through so many of my personal battles. Thank You.

Louie and his brother, Tony, became a part of my life in the late eighties. Officially, my step sons in July 1993. They were then and always will be considered my sons. My greatest memories of Louie will be his huge loving heart, ability to forgive and courageousness. He had a mischievous laugh and smile and gave the best hugs in the world. Gentle giant will always come to mind. I am so proud to be a part of his life. I am thankful, all though way too short, he found the love he deserved in Becky, Drew and Douglas. Rest in peace and know you will always be a part of my heart.
Theresa Ann Niksick left a message on August 2, 2016:
I will always remember the day you came to visit before being shipped off to Afghanistan and when we hugged goodbye and I cried and couldn't let go (I'm still hugging and can't let go) and when you showed up for my wedding, you said you had to see your cousin's before going in case something should happen, you are by far one of the greatest men I have ever known, you and Becky have the relationship that every couple always wants, the love you have for one another and your children is just so awesome beyond words could ever describe..... I am so sorry that you are gone but I know one day we will all be together again and it gives me comfort knowing that you are now with god, Uncle buddy and my dad, as well as grandpa Niksick... To Becky, I'm so sorry for your loss, I am sending an infinite amount of prayers and love to you and your children, god bless you and god bless Louis and may god give you comfort during this difficult time, Amen
