Lois “Lynette” (nee: Litton) Ratcliffe, age 95 of Chardon Twp., died June 26, 2018 at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg, Ohio.  Born July 24, 1922 in Memphis, TN to Garrett Mack and Beatrice (nee: Griffee) Litton, her family moved to the Cleveland area and then Chardon, OH.  Lynette and Rufus K. Ratcliffe were married on April 21, 1945.  They celebrated 67 years of marriage before his passing in 2012.  Her love for her family was unusual and continuous, a beautiful example to the living.

Lynette is survived by her daughters; Christine Larkin of Chandler, AZ and Nancy (Michael) Tvergyak of Chardon, Daughter in-law, Lee Chenery Carmichael of Tucson, AZ, Grandchildren; Mack Jr., Megan and Kip Ratcliffe, David (Annice) Larkin and Andrew Larkin, Dr. Leah (Robert) Gongola, Rachael Tvergyak and Michael (Krysta) Tvergyak.  Great-grandchildren; Kaylee Ratcliffe, Gabriel, Michael and Natalie Larkin, Emmett Conroy, Zuri and Nesta Gongola, and Lena Tvergyak.

Preceding her in death was her husband Rufus, Son Mack and daughter in law Cynthia Eldridge Ratcliffe, sisters, June Drenske Canfield and Maxine Sosno.

It is with much appreciation that Parkside Care Corp. of Chardon provided home skilled services allowing Lynette to remain home and then the wonderful care received by Blossom Hill care Center and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
