Lee Fierman, age 82, of Hambden Twp., died peacefully at his home October 2, 2021, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 18,1938 in Cleveland to Isadore and Elaine (nee: Horowitz) Fierman, he has been a Chardon Area resident for 50 years. Lee enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and playing golf with his buddy’s. He spent every morning at the same table at McDonalds, drinking coffee and reading his newspaper, doing his crossword puzzles. Lee’s dry humor, random visits to crack a joke, and his trademark “Okay, Goodbye” will be missed terribly. He was an Account Manager for Gables Search Group and was also a crossing guard for Park School on Chardon Square. 

Survivors include his wife Vi (nee: Bene) Fierman, whom he married 49 years ago, his children, Stephanie Fierman of New York City and Michael (Amy) Fierman of Hambden Twp.; grandchildren, Madison (Dustin) Gaines, Avery Sly, Merritt Fierman, Wyatt Sullivan and Layne Fierman all of Hambden Twp. Lee also leaves his sister Bobbi Rini, of Boynton Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 11, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, followed by the service at 12:00 p.m., with burial at Hambden Township Cemetery. The family suggests donations the UH Geauga Medical Center, Seidman Cancer Center, 13207 Ravenna Rd., Chardon, 44024.
