JULIET MARIE DROTLEFF (nee: BLACKFORD)
Age 47, of Chardon, died, after her courageous 7 year battle with Pituitary and Brain Cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Born March 5, 1974 in Euclid to Jerry D. and Jeanette M. (nee: Lewis) Blackford, she was a lifelong area resident. Juliet was a devoted Second Grade Teacher for the Euclid City School District for her 26 year career. She taught up until she was no longer able. She was a 1992 graduate of Euclid High School, a 1996 graduate of Mt. Union College and received her Masters Degree at Ashland University. She enjoyed holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Juliet loved spending time at Disney World with her family and she felt the Magic while she was there. She was also a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, Auntie and was the favorite daughter-in-law. She was devoted to whatever her sons were involved. Baseball, football, anything educational at school. Juliet loved her favorite movies and was an avid Areosmith Fan.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Bob, whom she married October 26, 2002, her sons Nicholas and Brandon, both at home, her parents, Jerry and Jeanette Blackford, all of Chardon, sister, Jaina (Anthony) Gandolfi of Russell, niece and nephews Vincent, Olivia and Anthony, Jr. She also leaves her inlaws, Bob (Kathy) Drotleff, brothers in law, Mark and Matt Drotleff and Grandmother, Velma Drotleff.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 at at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
