JOSHUA “JOSH” M. SUKOL

Age 38, of Newbury Twp, died May 20, 2018 at UH Geauga Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born June 17, 1979 in Amherst, Mass, to David and Debra (Sellers) Sukol, he has been an area resident for 17 years. He was an IT Consultant for T-1 Company for the last 6 years. Josh was a bourbon and cigar aficionado but his greatest joy was spending time with his “girls”.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Kelly (nee: Wikowski) Sukol, his daughters Madelyn and Rebecca, his mother Debra (Terry) Cote of Mass, and his brothers Ed Denny and Christopher Sellers. He was a beloved nephew and cousin to a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father.

The family will host a Celebration of his Life, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Hickory Lake Party Center, Newbury.

I’m saddened by the loss of such a great guy. Kelly, I still remember your courtship with Josh like it was yesterday. You two were so lucky to have one another.

Please accept our sincere sympathies. I grew up next door to Josh's Dad, David, and his family. I was at Josh's parent's wedding, his father's memorial service, and his grandmother Dolly's funeral, and knew him early in his life. Eddie and Robbie kept us updated over the years concerning his growth and development. Josh's life seems to have been an example that, despite hardships and sorrows, human beings can still build a life of value. The key is support of friends and family. I hope and pray that the family can follow Josh's example and continue onward. Winter always turns to spring, the night eventually gives way to the sunrise. Looking at recent pictures of Josh, it is striking how much he resembles other Sukols when they were younger, especially Todd and David. We loved them all.

Kelly, you are such a strong and caring person and I am so sorry. You have an amazing support group that surrounds you and your girls. I will remember Josh's smile; especially when he was talking about his girls.

My heart reaches out to you, Kelly, your girls, and all of your family on both sides. Josh was a wonderful man whose laugh and big heart will be so missed! I send you much love.
