Joseph M. Haladey

Joseph M. Haladey, Sr. September 6, 1926 – November 14, 2012. Joseph Sr. Beloved husband of Jacquelyn (nee: Knerem), son of the late Michael and Elizabeth, Father of the late Joseph Jr., and Elizabeth (Thomas) Bottger. Grandfather of Joseph III, the late Kathryne, Francesca, Rebekah, and Jared Bottger. Brother of Pauline (Raymond), Mary Lou (Edward-deceased), uncle and great uncle to many. Joe was a World War II Veteran serving 10/44 through 8/46. He was also a Cleveland Policeman serving from1950 to 1979 retiring as a Sgt. Joe and Jackie owned JOSEPHS’ Tavern on E. 185th in Cleveland. Joe Jr. and Beth worked along side Joe Sr. and Jackie for 11 fun years. In retirement, Joe and Jackie enjoyed some travel and recently moved out to Newbury to be closer to Beth and her family in their golden years. Joe lost his long battle with lung cancer on 11/14/12. Hospice appreciated his humorous ways! Funeral mass will be held at St. Helens Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Noon. Celebration of life luncheon will follow the mass–location TBA.
