JOSEPH EDWARD ALBERT
age 87, of Munson Twp., went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2021. Born February 24, 1934, to Joseph G. and Julia Anna (nee: Stanco) Albert, in Cleveland, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. Upon his return home, he worked for U.S. Steel as an Ironworker, retiring at the age of 58. Joe was a devoted Catholic and prayed the rosary daily. He was the Cleveland Indians number one sports fan. Joe was grateful for the great care, support, and friendships at Maplewood Senior Living.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 a.m., all held at the St. Mary Catholic Church, 401 North Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024.
He will be laid to rest next to his beloved parents at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon following the service.
