JOSEPH DANIEL McGLYNN

Age 75 of Chardon Township, died December 1, 2022. He was born June 18, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph B. and Mary (nee: Warmuth) McGlynn. 

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1968 to 1970. Afterwards, on February 6, 1971, he married Patricia (nee: O’Brien).  They lived in Painesville then settled in Chardon where they raised their children.  Joe was a machinist for 44 years, retiring in 2015. He was a classic car enthusiast, working on his cars in his spare time.  He and his family loved vacationing on the water and going to wineries. 

Joe is survived by his wife Patty; his children, Michelle (Harry) Schiemann and Joseph McGlynn; granddaughter, Mackenzie McGlynn; and brothers, Michael and Daniel McGlynn.  He was preceded by his parents and his brother, Patrick.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11:30 at St. Mary Church, 401 North Street, Chardon, Ohio.  Burial immediately following at Larned Cemetery in Chardon Township.
