Jane Marie Roush (nee: Sampson)

Age 87 of Leroy Twp., died May 25, 2018 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Westlake, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Born October 31, 1930 in Chardon, Ohio to Carl and Christie (nee: Ryant) Sampson, she was a lifelong area resident. She loved to crochet, garden, play cards and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her children Judy (Gerry) Felice of Fairview Park, Dennis (Joan) Pilarczyk, MD, Cheshire CT, Alan Roush of Leroy Twp. and Kerri Phelps of Painesville, 12 grandchildren Jason, Adam (Amanda), Brian, Chelsey, Eric (Kelly Dean), Alexandra (James), Ryan (Rachel), Aaron (Courtney), Jim, Kevin, JP and Joshua and 9 great grandchildren. Jane also leaves siblings Shirley McDonnel of Deerfield Beach, FL, Donna Pinzone of Mentor and Carline Troutman of Middlefield She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, 2 sons, Michael and James and siblings Ruth, Joanne, Doris, Robert, Frank and Faye.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon with the Funeral Service at 6:30 p.m. The burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Rd (Rt. 306) Chester Twp., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., family meeting at the cemetery.
