James S. Sharaba, age 75, died after a long battle with COPD on September 26, 2021. James was born in Cleveland, OH on July 26,1946. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. He co-owned Chester Products then continued as the general manager at Burns Interior Supply until he retired in 2008.
He was a loving father and grandfather. He touched many lives.
He is survived by his wife, Linda L (nee: Christopher), his children, Allison Powell (fiancé, Tom Cirincione), Jennifer Sharaba (husband, Phil Turek), Tony Sharaba (wife, Kelly); his grandchildren, Sam and Anna Cook, Jackson Powell, Isabella Clark-Alderman, Courtney, Gia, and Anthony Sharaba, his sisters, Rosemary (Vince Giorgi), Linda (Richard D’Amico), and Mary Jane Choi, and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony M. and Mary L. Sharaba (née Schiciano).
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery 10366 Chardon Road, Chardon, Ohio. Family kindly requests masks to be worn.
