James R. Bechtel, Sr. age 80 of Montville for the past 5 years and previously of Vernon, Ohio was born on November 10, 1931 in Kittanning, PA and died on September 7, 2012.Jim retired from Packard Electric where he was active in the union organization.Survivors are his sons; Dan (Aundrea) Bechtel of Gustavus Twp., J.R. (Carla) Bechtel of Vernon Twp., John Bechtel of Montville Twp.; daughter, Stormi (Barry) Stuler of Charlotte, MI; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; Brother, John Henry Bechtel of Warren; and sister, Ellen Hurst of Dade City, FloridaHe is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; parents, James and Mina Bechtel; daughter, Terri Bechtel; brother, Abe Bechtel; and sister, Mayme SiglerA graveside service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:00AM at East Mecca Cemetery. Pastor Fred Blauser of Cortland Church of the Nazarene will officiate.
