James Joseph Donahue (Jim), passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, after months of illness. Born to Gertrude (Kutch) and Norman Donahue in Tarentum, PA.
He attended Case Western Reserve University and almost immediately began his career at Lincoln Electric. Jim loved being outdoors; hunting, fishing, and planting and harvesting, and sharing his massive garden! He was a loyal friend to so many people and he fiercely loved his family!
Jim is survived by his wife, Frannie, daughters, Stephanie (Jeff) Jones and Erin Donahue; granddaughters, Mira and Nola. He is also survived by sisters, Rose Barr, Eileen (Ralph) Landefeld and Margaret (Tim) Youngless; brother, Bernie (Sara) Donahue, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Norman (Patty) and Edwin (Eileen) and his sister Marilyn Durst.
Per Jim’s wishes, his remains were cremated. In lieu of flowers or cards we ask you kindly make a donation to your favorite animal shelter in honor of all of Jim’s hunting dogs on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. May they all be together on their greatest hunt.
