Age 74, of Chardon, OH, died on February 10, 2022. He was born in Cleveland, OH, on November 18, 1947, to Robert Martin and June Helen (nee: McDonald) Prince.
Brad was a graduate of Chardon High School, Class of 1966, where he played basketball and golf and was the captain of the 1966 Western Reserve League Golf Championship Team. He then attended the Bowling Green University where he was also a member of the Golf Team. He loved to show a scorecard when he played in a foursome that included a gentleman by the name of Ben Crenshaw. (Brad had the lower score!) In December of 1969, Brad married Sheila Leyde in Hambden Twp. He had been the Sales Manager for the Sid Harvey Company. He had been a coach and served as president of the Chardon Little League. Brad was a big fan of Chardon High School Sports and an avid Notre Dame fan.
Survivors include his wife; children, Jonathon (Tina) Prince of Hambden Twp., Julie (Robert) Wichert of Huntsburg, OH, Tricia Filby of Chardon Twp., & Amy Prince of Chardon; grandchildren, Taylor (Andrew) Arnold, Jaqueline, Courtney, Caitlyn & Chad Prince, Andrew & Abbey Wichert, Benjamin, Hayden & Alaina Filby; great grandchildren, Savannah, Sam, Sloan, & Atlas; sister Karen (Fred) Eck of Cincinnati, OH. Brad was preceded in death by his parents; sister Jacqueline Phillips; in-laws Harry & Ellen Leyde.
