Ilse L. Grimm, age 76 of Chardon Ohio, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Born December 15, 1941 in Germany to Elsa and Hermann Friedauer. She married Dieter Grimm on February 3, 1962. They celebrated 56 years of marriage before her passing. Her love for her family was unconditional and a beautiful example to the living.

Ilse is survived by her husband Dieter Grimm of Chardon OH and her three children; Ralph (Jackie Cackowski) Grimm of Chardon, OH, Tanja (David) Rust of Chagrin Falls, OH and Cindy (Bob) Perry of Atlanta, GA. Grandchildren; Brighton (Sierra) Rust, Kyle Grimm, Mark Rust, Michael Rust, Hunter Perry, Stephen Rust and Rachel Perry. Sister, Doris Hugershoff.  She also leaves many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Helga Curtiss and brother in law Peter Hugershoff.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in Chardon, OH. She loved cooking and sewing. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and her friends.

It is with much appreciation that Crossroads provided hospice care allowing Ilse to remain home and spend her final days with her family continuously by her side.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12455 Merritt Drive, Chardon, Ohio 44024. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am. Following the service will be the Interment at the Chardon Municipal Cemetery.  Information and condolences online at www.burrservice.com.
