Herman Lee Fannin, Age 89 of Chardon Twp., died on December 7, 2021 at Ames Hospice Center in Westlake, OH. Born August 7, 1932 to Leonard and Maudie Fannin (nee: Smith) in Van Lear, KY, he has been a Chardon area resident since 1967.
Herman enjoyed fishing, golfing and was once a State recognized trap and skeet shooter. He was a devoted and loving husband of 63 years and was a dedicated Father and Grandfather.
Survivors include his children Teresa (Brian Stephens) Fannin and Phillip Lee Fannin and two beautiful granddaughters, Lindsay Jean and Jessica Lynne Fannin. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife JoAnn in 2017. Also preceding are his parents and brothers Hayes, Clarence, Leonard Jr and sisters, Lucinda, Edith, Mabel, Ethel, and Eula Mae who will all greet him in heaven.
There will be a private family celebration of Herman’s life held in Paintsville, KY in Spring 2022.
