Herbert Beech

Herbert David Beech, age 81, died March 10, 2012 at Lifecare of Westlake. He lived in Claridon Twp., until 2009 when he moved to Westlake. Born on January 24, 1931 in Chardon. Herb was employed by the Village of Chardon and worked in the Geauga County Sanitary Engineers Dept. until his retirement. He married Lois Jean Nelson in Chardon, OH, on December 15, 1955 and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed bowling and working in his yard.Survivors are his daughter, Patricia (David) Meeks of Westlake, OH and son, Herbert B. (Dianne) Beech of Lakeville, OH; and grandsons, David Meeks of Schenectady, NY and Mark Meeks of Westlake.He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean Beech; son, Mark Beech; parents, Frank and Mary Beech; sisters, Ruth, Bessie and Lucille and brothers, Edward and RobertFuneral service will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 7:00PM at Burr Funeral Home. Visitation is Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 4-7PM At the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
