HELEN BARTO (nee: LUBINSKI)
Age 68, of Montville Twp., died May 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born July 14, 1949 in Cleveland, to Edmund and Harriet (nee: Lubinski) Lubinski, she was a resident of Maple Hts. before moving to Montville in 1972. Helen’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and she enjoyed car cruising in their Corvettes. She was the title clerk for Preston Chevrolet in Burton for 16 years, before her retirement in 2015.
Survivors include her husband, John Steven Barto, whom she married May 3, 1969, her children John Carey (Melissa) of Lancaster, PA and Christopher (Sarah) of Concord Twp., grandchildren Morgan, Kyler, Reese, Lillian and Mason, her sisters Shirley (Phil) Hershberger of Wentzville, MO, Carol (Mike) Zolkowski of Port Clinton, brothers Edmund Lubinski of Mantua and Ronald (Kathy) Lubinski of Peoria, AZ. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister-in-law Andrea.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM with eulogy shared at 8:00 PM, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St. Rt. 44, 500’ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:30 at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon. The family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org/.
