To the family: you don't know me, but I baby sat Skeets and my sister when our parents went out, until I was old enough to go out myself. Our families were best friends. We lived on the same street in Cleveland until Uncle Harve & Aunt Gert moved to Burton. In 1971 when my Dad remarried, Uncle Harve (Skeet's Dad) was his best man. We sort of lost touch over the years, but I will never (nor will my sister & my husband) ever forget him...It is with sad heart that I write this condolence...Geri Merchant Swift

Skeet often came to the airport and picked me up when I was coming to visit my Mom. I loved those car rides with him, it was a special time to chat. He was kind and so very thoughtful, and always willing to lend a hand. My Mom couldn't have stayed in her home as long as she did if Skeet wasn't living next door to lend a hand and keep an eye on her. I know that losing his love Kaye was so very hard and I'm glad they are now together. Love to all the family.

I've know Skeets since the early sixties. A man I admired for his range of knowledge. I can't recall ever seeing him get angry or speak ill of anyone. I happy he may now join so many that have passed before us recently, his presence will truly be missed. My condolences to all those that know and love him.
