Emily R. Kilmer, age 80, passed away on December 15, 2020 at Heather Hill Care Communities in Munson Township, Ohio.  Born August 21, 1940 to Keith and Mabel (nee: Donnely) Reynard in Warsaw, N.Y. Coming from Grand Island, N.Y. she made her home in in Geauga County in 1984. She married Joyce H. Kilmer on September 16, 1961 in Canaseraga, N.Y.

Emily was valedictorian of her high school, continuing her education at Alfred University for two years and completing her BS at the University of Buffalo.  She became a Lab Supervisor for UH Geauga Medical Center retiring in 2007. 

She loved traveling, reading, studying genealogy, she was a great cook, baker, and an excellent seamstress.  Emily loved going to the Cleveland Playhouse with friends.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was the most wonderful grandma with the kindest most loving heart.

Emily is survived by her husband, Joyce H. Kilmer of Chardon, OH, son, Lee (Melanie) Kilmer of Burton, OH; sisters, Karen of GA, Vangie of VA and grandchildren, Elise, Aiden and Audrey, she was greatly loved by many nieces and nephews and had the greatest love for her cousins in Maryland.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Julie Kilmer.

There will be no services held at this time.
