Val, Greg, Lorraine and all your families, My thoughts and prayers of comfort are with you all. Uncle Elwood was such an amazing man and loved by all. I couldn't agree more, he was the BEST story teller (especially when we were kids, never forget the wet noodle stories). He made everyone stop, think, smile and appreciate all the important things in life. I will miss his greatly!! Love and hugs to you all!!

My sincere condolences to Valerie and the whole Buell family. Valerie and I were childhood friends who lost touch over the years. I spent many great times at her house with her family. It was there that I tried rabbit for the first time. It tasted like chicken. So sorry for your loss, Valerie. Your dad was a really funny, likeable guy. Say hello to Heather and Nancy for me.

Elwood was a great father. I only met him a few years ago when daughter Val married my son Case. Thanks Elwood for a job well done as exemplified by daughter Val and the wonderful person she is.God has welcomed you with open arms and rest in peace.

I married into the Motil family and didn't get to know Uncle Elwood till his later years. What a funny, caring, personable man he was. We got to visit with him and cousins Val, Greg and Lorain a couple times this last month. How enjoyable! He shared some stories that I had never heard before and the cousins reminisced about the "good old days." Scott and I were so thankful to have gotten that time with him. He was very much loved and will be truly missed.
