Tammy we are so sorry to hear about your mom. So many memories came back to me when I read her obituary. That big house on water street (that I know I never saw the WHOLE house :)), coming in the front door and your dad would be sitting smoking his pipe in the living room to the left, the time you mother caught us smoking behind Lawsons, swimming at your house, Barron and ming ming. I remember you would come over on the weekends for a sleepover and you get homesick and we had to call your mom. Then there was Aunt Venetta (?) who could forget her. Your mom was a wonderful person and will truly be missed. I'm glad that she was part of our lives.

I am so sorry for your loss! I had the pleasure of working with Ellie from 1994 to 2004! She was a tough woman who served others and cared about her family and community! She had a wonderful smile and laugh and meant business when needed! She was a great mentor and I am so proud to have worked with and learned from her!

Ellie, you were one of my first dispatchers when I started at Chester in 1971. You were always a good person, and I enjoyed your company. CPD has lost a good person, who now joins ranks with others from there. You'll be missed.

Eleanor was a wonderfully kind woman. I remember calling 911 for myself several years ago and Eleanor was on the phone with me. Talked to me until the EMS arrived and because she knew my brother, Sterling, called him to let him know so he could be with me until my husband arrived. Thanks Eleanor for your service to the Chardon Community. Peace.
