Marge (Riha) Kleppel left a message on October 18, 2012:
I lived across the street from Eddie & Margie for years. I even baby sat for the children when I was a teenager. Eddie was always taking good care of his cars and yard. He was a quiet man, but with a nice smile and laugh. My family, especially my Mom, Vera Riha, kept in touch with the whole family for many years and had some good times with the "Knapik Klan". Margie, Ed Jr., Kenny, Rick and Annette; know your dad is in good company with my Mom. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Kathi (Knapik) Wyatt left a message on October 14, 2012:
I lost my father (an only child) when I was five months old; at age 3, my mother (also an only child) remarried and my sister (Linda) and I became a part of the Knapik family. What a blessing! As a young, pig-tailed country girl, my fondest memories included being surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins -- whether around a 'First Communion' dinner or backyard wiener roast, spending time with the Knapik's was always the best. I have so many memories of Uncle Eddie. I actually remember his wedding to Aunt Margie and when each of the boys were born. I remember Uncle Eddie playing catch with us on the farm, the photo of Uncle Eddie and me with my 'black eye' (ha ha) and hula-hoop contests. Everyday was a celebration when surrounded by family. I celebrate Uncle Eddie & Aunt Margie, Uncle Mike & Aunt Mary Anne, Uncle Stanley & Aunt Charlotte, my other Knapik aunts, uncles and all of our dear cousins. I love you all and pray God's peace for you all.
