Edward John Kothera Jr, age 65, of Middlefield, was welcomed into God’s Kingdom on January 14, 2022, at University Hospital Geauga. Edward was born August 17, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio and had lived in Geauga County for the last 26 years.
He was a proud member of Laborers’ Local 860. He loved the ocean and traveling to Mexico. He was passionate about his hobbies; shooting, hunting, fishing, weightlifting, and he especially enjoyed walking on the Reservation Farm in Parkman. Edward was the “Proud Papa” to his grandchildren and spending time with them brought him such joy.
He is survived by his wife Dawn (nee: Pieronek), whom he married in Cleveland, Ohio on January 30, 1987; Son, Anthony (Ashley) Kothera of Middlefield; Daughters, Angi Rondini of Middlefield and Gina (Caleb) Arnold of Burton, Oh; Grandchildren, Dominic, Matthew, Nadia, Brooke, Gianna, Santo, and Amara.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service starting at 7:00pm at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio 44024.
