With deepest sympathy. Dorothy and my Mom were best friends from kindergarten on and she was present at my birth. The Allyn's were our closest friends and I have fond memories of many times together in Cleveland. She was an amazing friend and role model.

Blessings and prayers to your family. My parents, Bob and Jane Mack, and Dorothy and Bill Allyn were longtime friends from the late 1940s when they were neighbors on Lee Heights Boulevard. They remained friends from then on. I fondly remember Dorothy and Bill from the time I was a very little girl through adulthood. I played with the Allyn kids, especially Sherry and Becky. Dorothy was always so kind and thoughtful; she knitted a cashmere sweater for me when I was a teenager just because I admired her knitting. You are all blessed to have your mom/grandma/great-grandma for many years. You will miss her, and she will live in your memories. With wishes you find comfort in those memories, Susan Mack Grimm

To Sherry, Becky, Bob, Scot and families. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was certainly a beautiful & special lady, inside and out. She and your dad were cherished friends of my mom and dad going all the back to their days on Lee Heights Blvd. Your mom was so talented and she made such beautiful handmade gifts. I remember how thrilled my mom would be when she was the lucky winner of your moms contribution to the Christmas gift exchange with the "club". What wonderful memories you must have and how blessed you were to have such a special mom. My sincere condolences.
