Age 89, of Chardon, OH, died on Wed., Oct 17, 2018, at the Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Canton, OH, on Jan. 31, 1929, to Harry C. Dillon and Treva B. (Nee: Yarick) Ullum. Dorothy trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Canton-Aultman Hospital and married Martin Kerchelich on Nov. 21, 1953.
Survivors include her daughter, Terri Stephens (Roger Winzer) of Howland Twp., OH; 3 sons, Martin (Buzz) of Chardon, OH, Kirk of Calaveras, CA, and Sean (Paulette) of Painesville, OH; 3 grandchildren, Cory (Marla) Reichert, Maureen (Jared) Hoenigman, Sean Stephens; 5 great grandchildren; step-brother, Gary Ullum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin, in 1974.
What a lady she was! A loving mother, a lifelong Browns and Indians fan, finding pleasure in bowling with her friends, while serving as an outstanding role model who taught life lessons to her family, showing endless generosity towards others.
