Such a great couple...Don and Billie. You had such a great influence on my young in-the-Truth life. I lived across the street from you in Mt. Carmel, next to Lopezes. I cherish those beginning days. Thank you! We will all meet again in the new earth. Whether we walk through or do the underground route, time will tell. Thank you to Don for accepting a rough assignment so that our paths could eventually cross. Love you!

As his cousin- I have known Don my entire life. As an elder cousin, I always looked up to Don- his knowledge of cars and just about any mechanical device. As boys growing up- Don commanded the respect of all of us cousins growing up together. I remember Don mostly as always being good natured, patient, thoughtful and more often than not - laughing. I remember one evening over 50 years ago- he and I moved a load of hay from Denmark to Chardon at night. Don had an old jeep he had managed to get running. It was Winter- it was cold, and the floor boards of the jeep were mostly rusted out. I sat in the passenger seat next to Don and watched the road beneath my feet race by. There were no doors or heater- but he got the load of hay home. Don was committed to his religion. I sat in a Kingdom Hall on numerous occasions and listened to Don give a thoughtful message to all of us. When you look back in time and consider those that moved into and out of your life- Don was a foundational contributor to my personal development. A man who taught goodness by both his words and his actions. Don-you will be deeply missed. Bill Kurple
