Daniel J. Sadler, 72 years old, lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his home in Concord, Ohio.
Dan had an impactful 37-year career as a teacher, coach and guidance counselor with the East Cleveland School District and finished his career at Richmond Heights. He was an avid sports fan who had season tickets to the Cleveland Browns that he enjoyed with his son, Andy. He had season tickets to the Cleveland Indians and loved going with his wife, kids, and grandkids. Dan was the “Commish” of the golf league he ran for 30+ years.
Dan is survived by his wife, Judi Leamon Sadler; his children, Andrew (Anya) Sadler; Angela (Jason) Cooper Sadler; stepdaughter, Cassidy Walker; brother, Bob (Nancy) Sadler and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother and two sisters.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In honor of Dan’s memory, the Daniel J Sadler Memorial Fund will provide supplies to East Cleveland youth to help them succeed along their educational path. Incoming 6th graders at Kirk Middle School in East Cleveland will receive school supplies for the 2021 school year.
