Daniel James MacFarlane, age 87, A life-long resident of Hambden Township, OH, passed away on December 24, 2020 at UH Geauga Medical Center. He was born July 16, 1933 to James and Catherine (nee: Hibbard) MacFarlane in Oil City, PA.
Daniel served in the Army during the Korean War. He was the Chief Union Steward for TRW Euclid Aircraft Division. A member of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon.
He loved fishing and boating and he was a private pilot. He was an active member of the EAA.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle (nee: McGrath) MacFarlane; sons, Daniel Ayers of the Philippines, Michael MacFarlane of Chardon, OH and John MacFarlane of Chardon, OH; daughter, Lynn (Timothy) Parsons of Chardon, OH; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Sally and Susie.
A Private Burial was held at Calvary Cemetery in Erie, PA.
