Terry, Heidi and Homer So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We were out of town and just found out about it today. She was a remarkable woman. I have known her and your Dad for many years and attended the Methodist Church with them as a child. Your parents were always so kind to my Dad, Joe the barber as they called him. We have many fond memories of her and your Dad. She truly will be missed. Please accept our sincere condolences. John and Sarah (Yambor) McDonald

My deepest sympathy for your loss. The Bible promises that on God’s new world pain and death will be no more. Revelation 21:4 says: “and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. You are welcomed to visit JW,org to learn about other Bible promises that will be fulfilled in God’s righteous new world.

Cy was one of the first persons I met when I became involved with the local party. She and I hit it off right away. She always first with a smile and had an uncanny wit that always led to laughter and smiles. I loved talking with her about "back in the day". She and her cohorts were not only capable of all things but did them as well. Opponents must have quaked when Cy and her gang got involved. Through our conversation I learned that she and I worked in the same area for years without ever meeting. It was a a pleasure to know her as long as I did, it would have been twice the fun if we had shared more time. She was so much more than a cutup. There was a serious side as well. It's little wonder that she was the voice of reason and the council for so many. Beyond everything else she was my friend and I'll truly miss her and what we shared. There is sadness in my heart and I'll miss her always. Peace to all she touched and loved her. Please excuse my absence at the service, Cy would understand.

Deepest sympathy to the Zion family. I remember Mrs. Zion coming to Scott’s Bakery unannounced for an inspection with her clipboard and inspection list. She was a no nonsense person that I truly admired. May flights of angels sing her to her rest.

Aunt Cy was a straightforward, honest force of Nature. How I enjoyed talking with her! Under her brusque veneer was a loving heart who put her family, country, and God first. My favorite times with her were lunches at Mary Yoder's where our political/philosophical discussions were frequently interrupted by friends who spied her and came over to our table, took a seat, and shared their latest news. I will miss her bright smile, hearty laugh, twinkling eyes, and pearls of wisdom. To Heidi, Homer, Terry, Abby, and all of her wonderful family members whom she loved so much, our condolences. Your mother’s energy Was infectious! Don’t think we ever hit a topic on which she didn’t have an opinion! I’d stop to pick your dad up to go to some function and often get in a discussion ultimately causing us to arrive late. We’d always talk about what YOU were doing! Hopefully as the sorrow subsides, the good memories will bring smiles back to you ( both your parents did that a lot!!!)
