He is survived by his wife, Rose M. Dent, brother, Tony (Pam) Barber, sister, Katie (Todd) Long, and step-son, J.R. (Maranda) Dent. He is preceded in death by his parents Anthony C. and Bitsy (nee: Turk) Barber and brother, Danny.
