Christine J. (nee: Evcic) Cecelic-Evans age 93 of Garfield Hts. Died Jan. 15, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic. Born Apr. 21, 1920 in Smokerun, PA to Evan and Annie (nee: Rost) Evcic, she had been a longtime North-East Ohio resident. Christine retired from Chardon Rubber after 25 years. Survivors include her daughter Carol (James) Chatal of Walton Hills; son Robert (Claudia) Cecelic of Middlefield; grandchildren Edward (Andrea) Chatal, Daniel (Joelle) Chatal, Jason (Rachel) Chatal, Erin (Dave) Zavasky, and Matthew Cecelic; great-grandchildren Sophia, Charlie, Sabrina and Joey Chatal and Jameson Cecelic; sister Martha Carli of Alaska, Anna and Kelly Muhaw both of PA and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lew Cecelic; brothers Edward and Johnny Evcic; sisters Barbara and Luby. GRAVESIDESVC: 3pm on Saturday Jan. 18, 2014 at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Twp. The friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Arrangements by the Burr Funeral Home in Chardon.
